Film Schooled puts two aspiring teen filmmakers in a head-to-head competition to see who can produce the best film in one short weekend.
The kids don’t have to pay a dime. We ask our sponsors to provide everything.
Each team is provided with an experienced independent filmmaker as a coach and a $150 budget. The contestants must provide their own locations, cast, crew, and camera.
The resulting films are screened at a local venue, everyone gets in for free, and the audience chooses the best film.
The entire experience is filmed and edited into an hour long reality TV show.
The “Film Schooled” reality show shares positive stories of teens completing short films through collaborative effort with friends, family, and the community. Our mission is to inspire, challenge, foster, and educate creative teens through action and hands-on experience.
